Management of PT. Citra Lampia Mandiri (CLM), a nickel mining company operating in Malili, clarified the closure of the hauling road access. Previously PT. PDS closed the access road in KM 1.5 KM which is claimed as the area.
Manager of PT. CLM, Eid al-Adha told Lutimterkini.com reporters, Wednesday (16/03/2022) revealed that the hauling road access blocked by PT. PDS is an area of PT. CLM in accordance with the borrow-to-use agreement which is still valid until 2027. "In accordance with the lease-to-use agreement, it becomes our basis for utilizing the haluing road access. The agreement letter referred to is 1033/B.X/001/I/PDS-CLM/2019," said the man who is familiarly called Dedy.
Meanwhile, regarding the area at the Jety or a special terminal for loading and unloading, Dedy explained that PT. CLM has pocketed a permit issued by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia's Sea Transportation Directorate with the number BX-268/PP008 Year 2018 concerning the granting of a permit for the construction and operation of a special terminal for metallic nickel mining to PT. CLM in Harapan Village, Malili District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province. .
Regarding the development of a special Nickel-Type Metal Mineral Mining Terminal to PT. CLM has also obtained a permit with the number: A.768/ AL.308/ DJPL in 2021.
“Based on these points, all activities of PT. CLM has legality in operations and the sustainability of our business and production. As permit holders, we are responsible for maintaining and securing the entire area in accordance with the permits granted by the government. We are also obliged to report all activities in the operational area to the government on a regular basis," added Idul Adha.
