Management of PT. Citra Lampia Mandiri or CLM Mining provided funding assistance to strengthen the book collection in the Harapan Village Library, Malili District, East Luwu.
This assistance was handed over by A. Dodi MB as SPV. Community PT. CLM to Tika, the manager of the Harapan Village Library. Thursday ( 03/02/2022 ) .
The delivery of this assistance is a form of CLM's support in generating the Literacy movement in villages that are included in the PT CLM empowerment area.
According to A. Dodi, in implementing the empowerment program, CLM continues to improve the ability of access and cooperation between villages in the PT CLM empowerment area.
Harapan Village is one of the villages in the empowerment area that gets support in the development of the village library program.
The goal is that this village library can become a space for the community, especially the younger generation, to increase their interest in reading in adding insight and references through the reading movement.
"I hope that the library manager will also make various innovations so that they can attract residents to come and read the books in this library. Thus the library will develop and trigger the growth of interest in reading from the residents. "Said A. Dodi.
He added that one of the main requirements to improve the quality of human resources is to read a lot. By reading a lot of insight will increase. Dodi said.
Separately, Sartika as the manager of the Harapan Village library, expressed his gratitude to PT. Citra Lampia is independent, with this assistance, we library managers can add to our collection of books.
Sartika is also optimistic, with the addition of book titles, it can increase people's interest in reading, especially children in Harapan Village.
