To minimize the occurrence of forest fires in East Luwu. PT Citra Lampia Mandiri (PT CLM) in collaboration with the Forest Fire Control Center (BPKHL) DALOPS East Luwu, to hold Fire Rescue Basic Training (Diklatsar) in preventing and controlling forest fires.
The training was held for two days. Starting from 10 to 11 December 2021, it will be held in Malili District, East Luwu Regency. This activity was also involved by two firefighters consisting of 40 people.
In addition, this training and education also involves the general public. "It's not only internal PT CLM as a participant in this activity. In this training, the general public is also involved as participants,” said Forestry Supervisor PT CLM Gunaryo.
He said, for participants who attended this training, various class materials, up to field practice, were provided.
"This activity is carried out as a form of commitment to protect the forest for the prevention and control of forest fires. Be it the area of the mining company PT CLM. And generally in the forest in East Luwu Regency,” explained Gunaryo.
Meanwhile, Plt. The Head of the Forest Fire Control Section of the BPKHL DALOPS East Luwu, Yudo added that this Training and Education activity was a form of PT CLM's synergy in controlling forest fires.
