PT. Citra Lampia Mandiri (CLM) has proven its commitment to support the Green Open Space (RTH) program initiated by the Regent of East Luwu, H. Budiman. This commitment was followed up by launching the construction of a sports center at the location in front of the East Luwu Regency Environmental Service (DLH) Office, Puncak Indah Malili, Saturday (25/09/2021).
The launch of the construction of the sports center was symbolically marked by the pressing of a button by turning on and honking heavy excavators by the Regent of East Luwu, H. Budiman accompanied by the Regional Secretary, H. Bahri Suli, Liaison Officer, Major Inf. Martinus Pagasing, Management of PT. CLM, Eid al-Adha, and several heads of OPD.
Management Representative of PT. CLM, Eid al-Adha said, as one of the mining companies in this region, it is certainly obligatory to support development programs in this area by realizing corporate social responsibility (CSR).
"We are certainly committed to supporting the regional government's development program, namely green open spaces by building a sports center in this area," said Eid al-Adha, who is familiarly called Dedi Muller.
According to him, the presence of CLM in East Luwu is of course not only aimed at making profits, but he also ensures the existence of PT. CLM will benefit the community and the area.
East Luwu Regent, H. Budiman expressed his appreciation for the support from various elements of society, including PT. CLM in supporting development programs in this area. According to him, this synergy and mutual commitment are important to realize the development program.
"We are grateful for the support of PT. CLM to help the local government's development program for the benefit of the community. The existence of this sports center can later be used by the younger generation of East Luwu," he said.
In the future, said Budiman, the development of this green open space will also target various sub-districts in East Luwu Regency with the collaboration of the private sector.
The plan is that this sports center will be built in stages with a soccer field, volleyball field, and takraw field. In the first phase, a soccer field will be built. (hms/ikp/kominfo)
