Helping Blood Supplies in East Luwu, CLM Mining Holds Blood Donation Action

PT Citra Lampia Mandiri (CLM Mining) in collaboration with PMI East Luwu Regency held a Blood Donation event on Saturday, 05/02/2022) at CLM Puncak Indah Malili Office.

This action is a form of social care from PT CLM as a nickel mining company in East Luwu in supporting the collection of blood bags to be distributed to people in need.

PT CLM's supervisor, Amran as the person in charge of the blood donation event, said that around 40 employees of PT CLM including sub-contractors registered for the blood donor action. However, there are some who cannot donate blood because they do not pass the screening.

"So before donating, they are screened first, there are some who are declared not to have passed the screening so they cannot donate blood." Amran said.

Amran continued, the blood donation action carried out by CLM was to help the East Luwu District Blood Transfusion Unit, which often experienced a shortage of blood stock. Because so far, many residents who have asked for blood assistance have been conveyed through social media.

"We hope that this social action for health carried out by CLM can help people who need blood." Amran said.
