OKSon, East Luwu – PT CLM's quick action in helping residents affected by the flood in Malili District deserves a thumbs up.
Dozens of food packages, clean water and drinking water were distributed in two places, namely in Ussu Village and Puncak Indah Village, Malili District.
"Today, to coincide with our Friday sharing program, we distribute basic necessities of drinking water and clean water to residents affected by the flood. " said Eid al - Adha as Gov and Com.Rel Manager of PT CLM , " Friday ( 11/03/2022 ) .
According to Eid al-Adha Muler, heavy rains that occurred last Thursday night caused two villages to be flooded. Namely in Ussu Village and Puncak Indah Village in the Home Base area.
In Puncak Indah Village, Home Base area, there are 20 basic food packages in the form of rice, instant noodles, eggs and two units of water tank cars for clean water. Because the people there really need clean water. Even today, the supply of clean water is still ongoing. Said Eid al-Adha.
Clean water is very much needed by residents because the flood disaster also damaged the Intake Perumdam Waemami network in the upper Lawape river. So that clean water cannot flow to people's homes.
In Ussu Village, around 80 packages of basic necessities and drinking water have also been distributed. He hoped that the humanitarian assistance distributed by PT CLM could ease the burden on residents who were directly affected by the flood disaster. (OKSON/***)
