Citra Lampia Mandiri (CLM), continues to boost the performance of its social responsibility (CSR) program to the surrounding community. Commitment to the sustainability of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program of PT. CLM is realized through the assistance of agricultural machines in the form of a hand tractor.
A total of 4 units of hand takers were given directly to farmer groups in Pongkeru village which were received by the Pongkeru village head accompanied by BPD management and local community leaders. The delivery of assistance was carried out by the external manager of PT. CLM, Eid al-Adha Muller, Saturday (21/08/21).
“The assistance that we are distributing this time is a form of social responsibility for the existence and operations of PT. Citra Lampia Mandiri in Harapan and Pongkeru villages. Hopefully this assistance can be used to help farmers increase their agricultural production," added Dedy, the nickname for Eid al-Adha.
In addition, he continued, the CSR program, which is an obligation for the operations of mining companies around the work contract area, is also in line with the mandate of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 41 of 2016 concerning Community Development and Empowerment in Mineral and Coal Mining Business activities. "We are also committed to supporting the efforts of local governments in improving the community's economy, especially in the agricultural sector," he continued.
